We were so excited to get to see Ryan and Kate today. It was Ryan's 40th birthday and his awesome wife surprised him by flying him out here.
I got to make the birthday cake, and Jack decided to help (I didn't even realize he was in the kitchen with me. I turned around and he had taken the measuring cup out of the bucket of flour, and made quite a mess of himself and the kitchen).
Here he is wiping his mouth off with his shirt.

We had such a good time visiting tonight. We sure love these guys. They are the definition of awesome!
