Funny Stuffs

Caught on TV

At the museum there was a women's bathroom, and a family bathroom....but no men's bathroom....

Soup Natzi eat your heart out.

The Tourists

Today was a beautiful, beautiful day. It was perfect weather to go touristing. Norm was very kind and let us borrow his parking pass, so we were able to park right next to the National Mall with all of the Smithsonian Museums.

Tony was hungry, so he decided it would be a good idea to eat the Washington Monument.

I am chillin in front of the capital building........very far in front of the capital building. This was as close as we made it today.

We spent most of the day at the Museum of American History....and we still didn't see everything. Here are the ruby slippers. We watched a short video narrated by Ben Stiller that said that the ruby slippers are the most popular thing in the whole museum. Interesting....

More food storage

And this is our small start for a food storage. You can see what has gone on sale. We can definitely have pasta whenever we want it.

Food Storage

Yes I know it just looks like a pile of junk, but this is actually all that was given to us by a lady in our ward who is moving to Oregon. The table is really pretty, and I'm sure that is enough storage to last us at least a couple years. :) A lot of it is pretty old, so we are already starting to use it up. I went through and made an inventory of all that we have. It is a lot of really good stuff. And, thanks to Eleanor Jensen we have an awesome cookbook that tells us how to use all of this awesome food storage. We are so grateful that Brenda was so kind to give us all of this food storage, and can now say: Bring on the hurricanes and earthquakes DC, we are prepared!

Pizza!

This is the alfredo pizza that I made last week. It was soo sooooo good. I just made mom's alfredo sauce, and then put spinach, chicken, and seasonings on it, with cheese of course. Here was the awesome pizza dough.

1 packet yeast
1 cup warm water
2 cups flour
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar

Give it plenty of time to rise, then make the pizza, and cook it at 375 till done. The recipe had a way different time then it actually took to cook it, so I am just going to state it like that: Cook it till its done.
