I know how much you guys have been enjoying the pictures of Tony without his shirt on, so here are some more. You're welcome.
He got his groshong chest port out on Tuesday. He had to wear the bandage for 24 hours after the surgery. We started to get worried because the bandage soaked up a lot of blood, and then it started to pool at the bottom. Kind of gross. But it did finally stop bleeding.
He now wears a large bandaid over it to protect it from getting infected, but here it is without any protection. Kinda looks like he got shot, right? (By a small bullet, but still...) We are excited for this new step in his recovery.
In some extra news, he only has to take 1 immunosuppression pill a day instead of 2. They told him today at the doctor. That means he is a huge step toward being able to eat whatever he wants, and go out in public again. So somewhere in the next 1-3 months, he may be "back in business."
SO glad that he is getting better britt! What an amazing woman you are, and I am glad you guys have each other. :) And a great mommy. So glad things are looking up. <3
