We went into DC today with the Botts. It was fun to sit in the back with the boys. They fought the whole way in. Even side by side these boys steal from each other. It was super funny to watch.
The "peak" blossoms are supposed to be now through Monday, so we decided to brave the crowds. We were lucky enough to find a pretty good parking spot, but then weren't rewarded with very many blossoms. It's still pretty pitiful right now.
But Jack didn't care. He just wanted to get out of his stroller and walk. The uneven ground had him tipping over quite a bit though. In the picture below you can see a engaged couple at the top left of the photo. We saw several professional photography sessions going on and felt bad because this was really the only blossomy tree we saw, and there were soooo many people around it.
There was a short second when there wasn't 2 million people under this tree and we took advantage.
