Pretty in Pink


Cherries!!!! (blossoms, not real cherries unfortunately). We really didn't think we would get much this year because of the cold, but we were wrong. We packed up early this morning and headed into DC (The tidal basin). We were super lucky and got some awesome parking. It also wasn't too crowded.  Autumn came with and helped us take pictures. It was perfect weather and all in all a perfect morning.


Pink blossoms above, and white ones below on the right.


And the picture at the bottom is a Magnolia tree.
The Magnolias are also in bloom. They are Awesome!

    Dear Tony, Brittany and Jack,

    There's nothing nicer than to see the Cherry Blossoms in bloom. I have seen them also, and I'm glad they finally came out for you. Jack is a lucky boy because of all the nice things you are able to do close to your home. I hope he remembers some of it. When he gets older, you must show him all the photos and see what he says.
